What can Visio Standard be used for?

The 2024 version is a key that can be moved to another machine. The 2021/2019/2016/2013/2010 versions are keys for the original machine and are not Visio Professional or Visio Plan subscriptions.

Key tied to account, can be moved to another device
The perpetual license of the purchased version is tied to the buyer’s Microsoft account, not a monthly or annual subscription. Use on 1 computer at a time. Transfers are subject to the stated terms: uninstall the program from the original computer first. Free upgrades to newer versions are not included.

Keep the account used to bind the license and recovery data ready. When reinstalling, log in to the original account that registered the product. The permanent license of the program is separate from the retailer’s key warranty period.

Key for the original device, cannot be moved
Valid indefinitely, no expiration date, not a monthly or yearly subscription 1-year key warranty from the order date. Actual usage period may be 2–5 years, but not guaranteed.

Valid for 1 device, cannot be moved, including changing the motherboard (MB), SSD, or HDD where the system/program is installed. Can be reinstalled only on the original device without changing the mentioned devices. If you want to change the device or equipment, you must purchase a new license.

Delivery

The key or registration link, along with the installation file link and instructions, will be sent via email within 24 hours. No disc or box will be shipped. Please ensure the provided email address is correct and check your spam folder.

After delivery, use the installer that matches the edition and key type in your order. Keep the delivery email and order number. If you have activation problems, send the store a screenshot of the message, hiding the key and personal information first.

Prepare your computer before installation

Backup important work files. Check system name and available space. The installed program should be a compatible version. If there is Office, Project, or Visio on the device, check 32/64-bit and installation format before starting.
